Renewal Fee - $85

As an NFPT certified affiliate, you will appreciate the low cost of an $85 per year membership renewal fee (amongst the lowest in the entire industry) in addition to a number of other benefits that include FREE CECs! Each year, before your certification's expiration date, you will receive renewal notification. Upon renewal payment and completion of necessary CECs, you will receive the following:

CEC Requirement

After your first full year of certification, you will be required to complete one (1) CEC credit each six (6) month period (or two (2) total credits per year.) NFPT posts Self-Tests every June and December that are made available to NFPT certified affiliates through a certification ID number. Each Self-Test has a value of one (1) credit and each are made up of approximately 30-45 questions which are derived from articles posted monthly at NFPT’s exclusive PersonalTrainerToday.com magazine and e-newsletter.

The process for completing NFPT Self-Tests requires the review of on-going educational articles, which all Self-Test questions are derived from, and is taken in a way that is extremely user-friendly and can be done any time within six (6) months at your convenience. The Self-Test is not a pass or fail quiz but is instead a participation based quiz with a built-in search box for more accessible research. The Self-Test method for obtaining CECs not only meets all regulated NCCA Accreditation Standards, it allows for convenience and affordability that are difficult to find with other programs.
