Face to Face Learning
This method for teaching the NFPT course allows your school to customize the existing 8 week curriculum into a time frame that works best for your students. NFPT is happy to assist in the recruitment of local instructors so that you may interview qualified trainers and choose who will best meet the needs of your school. NFPT will allow your school to price this course according to demand and other factors in your marketplace; NFPT simply charges the school a test fee per each student enrolled.





Distance Learning
NFPT's Distance Learning program combines the teaching structure of our 8 week face-to-face college course with the convenience of our home study option, allowing the student to prepare for the exam around their schedule! The course curriculum includes: reading assignments from NFPT Study & Reference Manual, chapter outlines, animated PowerPoint presentations, worksheets and educational document downloads, practice questions, client fitness assessment and consultation instruction, and fitness prescription scenarios. This method allows the school to capture an audience of fitness enthusiasts who may not have the available resources for face-to-face learning. NFPT will provide your school with a direct enrollment link so that participants of this course will be appropriately tracked and payment made to the school per each student enrolled.

Benefits Include:

Implementation ease: incorporate the NFPT course into your existing fitness program/s/ or use the NFPT 8-week structure to create a course for current students and local adult learners who wish to become personal fitness trainers. 

Instructor Material provided: NFPT will provide all course curricula to the instructor which will include hard copy of all education material, PowerPoint presentation, Instructor Manual providing step-by-step instruction, and CD with all education and related instructor's material in electronic copy.  NFPT will also assist your school with locating an appropriate instructor if no candidate for this position currently exists.

Credibility in the credential: when seeking employment opportunities as a personal fitness trainer, NFPT's certification credential provides the pre-requisite desired by most health clubs/wellness facilities. 

Available Credit Hours with certification: Colleges that accept the American Council on Education (ACE) recommendation for credit can also provide three (3) credit hours for successful completion of the NFPT examination and respective CPT credential.
