The NFPT Personal Trainer Certification is recommended for three college credits by the America Council on Education (ACE)
NFPT is nationally accredited through the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) which operates under the auspices of the Institute ofor Credentialing Excellence (ICE).

Military Personnel
For college credit, once you have completed the course, you will need to order a transcript from ACE to provide to your academic counselor.
VA forms for filing GI Bill
- Application for Reimbursement of Licensing or Certification Test Fees, VA Form 22-0803
- Veteran or active duty eligibility form, VA Form 22-1990
- Eligible spouse or child, VA Form 22-5490
- Regional Offices, Application for Licensing and Certification Testing Fee Reimbursement
If you are out of the military, you need to fill out VA Form 22-1990. This gets you in the military system and they will let you know what you are eligible for.
After you have been approved from the VA, the appropriate form to fill out is the VA Form 22-0803 for licensing and certifications.
Our EXAM is approved by the VA. If they look us up in their system as a school or college you will be denied. It is our exam that is approved.
If you are deployed, you may still take the exam with a proctor on base. Any appropriate personnel from an Education/Test Service Department, can administer the NFPT exam to you. Contact Us for details.
Generally, with the GI Bill and TA, reimbursement comes after successful completion of the certification exam. Contact your counselor for more information or start your studies today.
