SMT, Schroeder Measurement Technologies, is a full-service international testing company with offices in Florida, Delaware, London, Tokyo, and Hong Kong. NFPT contracts with SMT to provide exam technology, development systems, psychometrics, exam security, delivery procedures, and score report processing that is all handled through SMT’s Florida location.

NFPT’s Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) examination is managed directly by SMT’s professional and knowledgeable staff of test experts who assist NFPT in assuring policy compliance with regard to delivery, administration, and return of all NFPT examination property.

SMT delivers examinations to approved NFPT paper/pencil proctors upon direct request from NFPT. Upon receipt and approval of all proctor information documents, NFPT will place an order with SMT. SMT sends NFPT exam material via Federal Express to the proctor directly; this package will arrive approximately 2-3 days before the scheduled test date.
