The benefits of setting your clients up with 8 week training packages

Thesis: It’s great because they see better results, you get more guaranteed income, and it hold your clients accountable

Outline:

  • Better results: instead of quitting after 2 weeks because they aren’t seeing change, they are commited to 8 weeks. If you are holding great workouts and they are eating well and staying active (see this post Ive donw) then they WILL see results after 8 weeks. Seeing results is motivating! They you are so much more likely to have client retention, they’ll come back not for another 2 weeks but for another 8 – because that’s the package you sell 🙂

  • More guaranteed income: Designing 8 week sessions was by far the BEST thing I ever did financially. Gone are the days of cancellations and last minute bailing. They pay in advance, and there is not a refund if they don’t make a session. Are you thinking :You’re so mean?” No I’m not – they signed up for a time slot in a full class, that hour could be someone elses and my time (and yours!) is valuable. If they can’t make their assigned time, I allow them to sub into another group session that same week. Or if they are out of town then I sent them an awesome at-home workout to do on their own. Plus, they get a cheaper rate to begin with when signing up for 8 weeks at a time.

  • Hold them accountable: I cannot tell you the number of times I’ve had a client say “I’m only here this morning because I already paid for it.” Your clients will be SO much more likely to not cancel, to show up and to work hard. The best part? 90% of the time that above comment is followed by “I’m so glad I did, I feel much better now”. Because they committed in advance they came. Because they came to the workout they are that much more ready to enjoy the day!

With the 8-week training, make sure to cover how they can “sell” their clients on the idea.

Ok now you know why it works, so how do you sell your clients on it?
