Last week I briefly touched on the importance of keeping up with the times in this industry. I gave you a small bit of information about NFPT adapting to the web as soon as we could. This week I wanted to talk more about being available to potential customers and clients in this Information Age.
Information is everywhere nowadays! People can access almost any bit of information they desire almost anywhere. Because of this, it has led our population to become more impatient and even more entitled. Consumers seek this information in any way they can find it. In fact, 93% of people expect companies to have a social media presence. They expect it! And if your information isn’t out there for them to find, they will find someone else’s information instead.
The Internet is HUGE. There are approximately half a billion websites currently on the net. Which means there are a great number of places your fitness business’ information could and should be. Some of the bigger ones to look into are:
- Your own website
- Google+
- Google Maps
- Business listings
Check out any of the links above to see how to get started! There are plenty more ways to stay connected and available in today’s society, so check into more avenues as well. By simply having your business’ information out there you have more potential for customers and clients.
